VENEGAZZU



At the foot of the Montello, in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana, lie the vineyards of the Counts Loredan Gasparini, which cover an area of 90 hectares. The estate is near the village of Venegazzu, where the special type of soil particularly favors the cultivation of vines. The descendents of the Venetian Doge Leonardo Loredan chose the hamlet that was then called "Vinigazzu" as the location for their magnificent Palladian villa. In the 1950's Count Piero Loredan gave new impulse to the family farm. After carrying out specific tests as to the nature of the soil, he selected and planted vines such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbech, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The Loredan Gaspairini Counts' Estate has produced beautiful wine since. Using exclusively their own grapes that are processed only after having carried out an active and thorough selection.
