TORREMILANOS



The Torremilanos estate that is owned and managed by Bodegas Penalba Lopez and his family has a tradition for wine growing which dates back to 1903. The wines are given rigorous and loving attention hence are rich in body & color and harbor enlightened, roasted, mature and complete aromas. To the palate, they are reminiscent of ripe fruit as well as a surprising tannic tang.

With 200 hectares of vineyards, the varietal Tinta del Pais stands out totally adapted to the land; richness and a stable color, with low oxide content well suited for crianzas & reservas. The special character of the Torremilanos also comes from the 12 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, which add structure, complexity and elegance. After ageing in French oak barrels their wines will remain for years in the bottle developing bouquet and body before leaving the winery.
