The Sparr family started winemaking in 1680 and has handed down the love of hard work, the care for consistency, the need for efficiency and strength of their winemaking initiatives through nine generations. This family winery has built up a strong reputation for quality by producing with passion and consistency, the finest wines from Alsace. They have now 4 Estate single vineyards, 10 Grand Crus with Late Harvests, Selection Grains Nobles and Sparkling wines. Over 55% of their production is being exported to over 40 countries. The wines are produced in a firm, full-bodied style, fermented dry with considerable character.
