Ursula Pridham, Australia's 1st female winemaker, founded the Marienberg Winery in
1966. Ursula's vineyard was planted in the now famous McLaren Vale viticultural region of
South Australia. Since then, Marienberg wines has received a steady flow of both
International and National recognition, reflecting the quality of the wines. With one of
Australia's most skilful winemakers, Grant Burge, in charge of creating the wines, it's
reputation and popularity will undoubtedly continue to grow.
